This is the County Development office for the development of childcare provision in Louth as part of the National Development Plan. We seek to improve the quality of childcare in Louth and increase the number of childcare facilities and childcare places. There are six people working here on this initiative, which has had a significant impact on childcare provision in the County. Our aim is to ensure a coordinated strategy which underpins the planned response to perceived and actual childcare issues in County Louth . LCCC has clear, achievable, measurable objectives, is all embracing in its efforts to take on board the views of all interested parties, is transparent in its modus operandi, and has clarity of purpose which places the child at the centre of all deliberations and work.
