ASC Software main goal is to overhaul the Commercial Vehicle Testing system in Ireland from a totally paper based manual system that was fraught with errors to a more streamlined sophisticated computerised system using the latest technologies such as touch screens and bar-coding. The system called CVT had to fulfill many pre requisites and demands before the Department of the Environment would grant permission for the use of the system.
